Tamil Nadu moves Supreme Court against Karnataka’s Mekedatu dam plan

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday moved the Supreme Court to stay the operation of the permission given by central government to the Karnataka government to go ahead with preparation of a detailed project report for Mekedatu balancing reservoir cum drinking water project across the inter-state Cauvery river.
