Jayendra Saraswathi and Shankarachrya tradition: All you need to know

Shankaracharya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, the 69th head of the Kanchi Mutt, passed away today in Tamil Nadu's Kanchipuram, at 82. He had been keeping unwell for the last few days and was rushed to a hospital near Kamakshi Amman temple earlier today after he complained of breathlessness.
